There
By Air - Kumarakom is just 16 km from Kottayam. After flying
into India through Mumbai or Chennai, you can catch a flight to Kerala to any
of its three airports at Kochi, Kozhikode or Thiruvananthapuram.
By Rail - The best way to reach the park is to board a train
to Kottayam and then take a bus or any other local form of transport to the
park.
By Road - The park can be accessed by road from all the neighbouring
cities in and outside the state. Cochin International Airport is just 85 km
from the Muhamma Boat Jetty.
By Water - The park can be accessed by the water route through the
enchanting backwaters of Kerala by taking a ferry or a houseboat. There are
many boat services that start from Kochi.
